Meet Ava, Founder

Ava Vushaj is the founder and head instructor of The VAVA Method. She didn’t just want to open a gym — she wanted to create a space people feel pulled toward. A place with energy. With intention. With heart.
Her teaching blends athletic strength with mindful control. She challenges her students while meeting them exactly where they are, guiding them with clarity, alignment, and purpose. Core engagement, breath, and structure anchor every class she leads.
At the center of Ava’s work is connection: helping people reconnect to their strength, their goals, and to one another. She believes real progress comes from consistency, discipline, and supportive coaching - not extremes.
The VAVA method reflects her approach: grounded, intentional, and built to challenge while still feeling welcoming.

Meet Maria, Mat Pilates & Sculpt Instructor
Maria is a STOTT® trained Mat Pilates instructor, certified personal trainer, and nursing student with a deep understanding of anatomy and movement. Her bright smile and positive energy light up every room. Grounded in both science and strength training, Maria implements The VAVA Method by delivering classes that are strong and challenging, but never extreme—helping you move smarter, feel stronger, and build lasting confidence in your body.
Meet Leah, Mat Pilates & Sculpt Instructor
Leah is a STOTT® trained Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor and full-time hairstylist known for her uplifting energy and love of connection. She blends classical Pilates foundations with a fresh, modern twist—bringing The VAVA Method to life through classes that are strong and challenging, yet never overwhelming. Leah’s goal is to help you build strength, move with confidence, and feel amazing in your body in an encouraging, welcoming environment.
